Dollarbeg Castle - unique holiday let
in a fairy-tale Castle in Scotland!
Presented to an extremely high standard with a real feel of luxury one would expect from a Castle. The accommodation retains great character throughout, with turreted corners in several of the rooms, and outstanding views from every aspect.
A bottle of Champagne and a welcome basket are provided on arrival.
Dollarbeg Castle can be found on the outskirts of Dollar in Clackmannanshire (the 'Wee County' - the smallest county in Scotland). Dollar is in the foothills of the Ochil Hills which are great for hiking. In the town you will find a good range of amenities, including:
Castle Campbell, the location used in the film 'Rob Roy', is only 3 miles away and a wonderful place for walking with beautiful scenery through Dollar Glen. This area has lovely woodland trails, pretty burns, the rushing waterfalls of the Falls of Devon and fantastic views of Dollar below. Caldron Linn (River Devon) is a lovely waterfall just a couple of miles from the castle. Just outside the town is the Japanese Garden (Cowden).
